Research
Pre-existing Publication
In the early stages of the project, I researched several posters from past Field Day Festivals. The design reflected the festival's location in a vast grassy park, primarily using green and blue colors. Natural motifs such as grass, trees, and sun were commonly used in previous publications.

Site-Visit
I visited The Domain, the venue for the festival, to conduct an on-site survey. The park spanned an enormous area, with endless green grass stretching as far as the eye could see. The view combined with the surrounding buildings and the sky created a lively and cheerful atmosphere, transforming the urban setting into a vibrant, refreshing space.

Design Direction
The festival’s identity centered around its grassy park setting led me to retain motifs like grass, trees, flowers, and the sun. I used strong neon colors - green for the grass, red for the sun, and blue for the sky to enhance the lively atmosphere. The rising sun motion reflects the New Year’s celebration, symbolizing new beginnings, while the blooming flowers and spinning record amplify the vibrant energy of the festival.
This project involved planning and designing the 2025 identity for the festival and expanding it into both print publications and an online website.
